Gecko is a serie of Kontakt instruments that sound amazing. I just tried complex environment and the glitchy rythmer … it sounds really cool. I will be using the complex environment in my next track. Very light and easy to play with, you can take this on a laptop and a korg nano pad and kontrol, and just enjoy the sounds.

Tonehammer’s crazy little brother microhammer has realease a serie of very interesting libraries: spirit flute, berimbau, sand drums, kokiriko, and so on are incredibly affordable Kontakt libraries that you can play with just like toys to make very serious and original projects. Looking forward to hear that Clay drum demo!
OK, now Steinberg has it’s own museum, virtual of course …. I really don’t know what to think of that! It’s fun, interesting … but as a customer I would rather see them spend money on their products, than on a museum i guess …

Nobody knows what the features will be, but it’s rewritten from the scratch …. (is that a good news? a confession of the so badly written previous version I guess)
oh … and… they have announced a Blog for it.
So that people can then speak about some inexistent rewritten software! Wow!
Well, dear Steinberg: Halion 3 was really bad in comparison with competition, so unless you make it better or equivalent to Kontakt 4, my predicition is …your Halion 4 will follow Halion 3′s path, sadly, for me it meant “move to trash”. So I really hope that with all this buzz, your product will be up to it. Kontakt would definitely deserve some more serious competition (Machfive is also quite on the low side it seems), so the door is open.
I’ll wait and see.
Oh yes! Terrie sings like an angel and you can have her in your studio for only 89 bucks! Simply wonderful voice and great library AGAIN proposed by Tonehammer. The bonus ambience presets are sooo usable in a movie soundtrack ! I’m playing around with it now and all presets actually sound so interesting. You also have keyswitches to alter the pitch and timbre of the voice … Check out the demos!
