Full new instrument from Vir2, and it’s not a gadget, really?
Q has twenty-three main categories. Here you start thinking do they have an organization problem? Well the thing is they have the ambition to cover a lot of very diverse sounds for movie sound effects.

Honestly, very often, when one tries to do too much, it ends up being superficial. I haven’t tried this library, but i am suspecting it has the same flaw. Just a suspicion really.
Some things do sound good to my ears though, when i read Granular Orchestra or Hong Kong Cinema sounds … curious to find out what’s in there.

For sure the interface looks good, the sounds sound good, and they end up with a very professional looking product, as Vir2 always does, so … who wants to try and give some feedback?

Vir2 already guilty of the great Elite Orchestral Percussions has released another Kontakt based library: World Impact. I listened to the demos, and it does sound great, but i don’t feel i’m getting anything new in terms of sound, the interesting part is probably what they have done with Kontakt’s scripting to either Humanize, articulate, trigger, etc… the sounds. This only proves, if necessary that Kontakt is the best sampler ever.
